The California Water Institute held its first Arsenic Symposium. The free public event was an informational learning opportunity to really delve into the effects of Arsenic in the San Joaquin Valley groundwater. Along with hearing from esteemed, Fresno State Faculty, local Hydrogeologists and wall drillers, The United States Geological Survey, State Water Resource Control Board, and Stanford University Researchers, attendees participated in breakout sessions to brainstorm on the next steps to address Arsenic in the San Joaquin Valley groundwater.
